It gives me a very bad feeling to behave with my students in this way, to say the least. Or dictate a number and have students form the number using their digit cards. The next most immediate challenge is keeping up with the advancement in math technology tools for the sighted. I am currently working with two groups in professional development projects that include middle grades teachers. There is no indication of why she wants the sweater or if she "needs" the sweater.
